What is IPGenius™ ?

It is an on-line platform for the generation of parametrizable IP modules than can be used in semiconductor devices. This tool allows the generation of custom-made IP modules designed according to user requirements, packaged and delivered to the end-user via the internet.

Who is IPGenius™ for ?

It is a powerful tool aimed at professional engineers and managers in the Semiconductor chip design industry that brings straight forward immediate solutions to their semiconductor module needs.

How do I receive the requested IP module ?

Via email as an attachment. You will receive a e-mail with the parameters and other checkout information on the main body and the requested IP module as a .tgz attachment

What files will I receive ?

When you request a module you will receive the design in HDL form and the documentation as an archive attached to email. For some modules you will also receive synthesis scripts, testbench and XML metadata.

Why are opensource models included ?

We also include proven and verified commercially-friendly opensource modules that pass our quality control. Unfortunately due the viral effects of the GPL license, we will not include anything using this license. However, we will include LGPL modules as we regard them commercially usable. Our prefered license scheme is BSD.

I requested an IP module but never got the email.

Please make sure it wasn't flagged as spam and it is in your junk mail folder. If you use a corporate email filter please contact your administrator. If you still have problems please contact us and we will send it again to you

I am trying to checkout an IP module and get a message that I am not licensed for it.

Please contact sales to obtain the required license. Some IP modules will require a special license but some other are free to use.

I would like to try before I buy. Do you supply an evaluation license ?

You can obtain a limited time, evaluation license for some modules subject to NDA agreement. Please contact sales for further details.

I have an IP Core which I would like to market through your IPGenius platform, is this possible ?

Yes, please review our IP Commercialization Programme and contact us.

Do you have privacy policy for my registration ?

Think Silicon Ltd maintains several email lists to keep interested persons informed about events and other items of interest. Individuals can sign up to join such emailing lists. We do not sell, trade, lease, rent, loan or otherwise disclose the addresses on such lists to any third party.

Why do you want my public GnuPG key ?

To protect our intellectual property and your privacy, certain highly confidential modules will only be delivered encrypted. We need your public key to encrypt the data for you so even if they are intercepted, they are not usable. As the public/private key encryption is a bit complicated, please refer to GnuPG site http://www.gnupg.org for further information

Can I have a secure connection to the IPGenius generator engine?
